from the past few days since both Deltarune chapters released, the fandom started to put the freedom motif in ANY song you can imagine. i will make a blog post regarding that because in a nutshell, i actually like the idea a lot. But when it comes to Marie from the game Skullgirls, could the freedom motif benefit her more due to his lore implications with Double and the Trinity itself?

Skullgirls tells us in the Story mode of Marie and some bits in the game (and some parts in the webtoon, but not many people knows about it) that marie had no other option to ask for help to Double do destroy the whole Medici family, but at the same time, she had to become the skullgirl, porting the skullheart created by The Trinity (the godesses of the game), wich those are Double, Venus and Aeon.

The skullheart grants Marie an increible amount of power and the Skullheart has the hability to grant any wish..but at the same time, Marie is still controlled by the Trinity, and not until the last minutes of the Story mode looks like she is free from the godesses...or is she really?

and thats why i personally think a freedom motif in his theme could give it more lore regarding the control the Godesses have in the Skullgirls universe (in the Double Story mode, Venus and Aeon are literally playing with the characters like a videogame). This could also mean that some of the skullgirls characters could have a freedom motif due to some relations with the lore of the game. Another example that i suggest could be Painwheel / Carol, since she is being controlled by Brain Drain in game, and we see it via some animations, and she wants to be free from that pain and control. And maybe another one could be Cerebella, since in the last minutes of her story mode, we can see her with an expression of concercing if she should be With Vitale and The Medici, wanting to be free from the mafia. however i think that last example is WAYYY con conspirative to make sense for me honestly.

to sumarize this whole TPoA, i think some characters in Skullgirls could have a freedom motif due to his lore implications. However, you dont need to takes this whole post seriously or profound, this is just a intresting thing i just saw since i have played both games.

And now Animalox Must say goodbye, i have to play a game of cards to tell multiple stories...and the ccards looks fairly odd, and even there is a kid juggling some torches in a camp of bombs, hope they dont explode...

Bye Bye =)
